An oath binds us all to each other and to the principles and objectives of the entity to which it is made. An oath is made upon a person's sacred honor and is not taken lightly. The New Sons of Liberty’s oath mimics to a degree that taken by members of the armed forces and federal, state and local elected officials. All members are required to take the following oath:
"I, [Name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that as a member of the New Sons of Liberty, I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will be true and faithful to my fellow brothers in the New Sons of Liberty."
