organization

The basic unit of the organization is the local Lodge.  A Lodge may represent any incorporated city or town within a state and shall be named for said city or town.  There may be more than one Lodge within the same city or town.  When that occurs, they shall be designated with a number starting with 1, in the order the Lodge was established, for example:  Philadelphia Lodge 1, Philadelphia Lodge 2, etc.  The New Sons of Liberty National Headquarters (NSLNHQ) will have three roles, 1) as the National Headquarters, performing organizational-wide administrative duties, 2) as a state Society, and 3) as a local state Lodge.  There will be one Lodge in each state, designated by NSLNHQ as a state "Society" that will perform state-wide administrative duties and also serve as a local Lodge.  All Lodges are independent entities that develop and execute their own activities and plans of action to further the goals and objectives of the organization as stated in the NSL manifesto.  A Lodge’s internal activities and external actions, regardless of their legality are strictly their own and the Lodge bears sole responsibility/liability, i.e., no other local Lodges within or outside a state has responsibility or liability for another Lodge’s actions.
